Formerly known as "Metalforce," the heavy metal band Majesty was formed in
Lauda, Germany. Frontman Tarek Maghary launched the group with guitarist Udo
Keppner in 1997. Inspired by bands like Accept and Iron Maiden, the group
introduced its traditional metal sound with the 2000 debut album Keep It True,
which was self-produced and independently released. A record contract with
Massacre Records followed in 2001, and Majesty returned in 2002 with the band's
label debut, Sword & Sorcery. Keppner left the lineup shortly thereafter,
Maghary becoming the band's longest-running member. ...
